On one side, it is made of a lightweight navy blue wool with a dark blue cotton backing. On the other side, it is made of lightweight gray wool with a black cotton lining. On both sides, there are 3 outside pockets. The Union side has 9 Union Eagle buttons down the front, the Confederate side has 9 wood buttons down the front. There are adjusting straps on each back.
This is for guys who cross dress (okay, galvanize) and don't want to have to purchase two separate vests. On this vest, the Union is the main side - it has the brass buttons and buttons down the correct side. When worn with the confederate side out, the buttons will be down the opposite side. For those who are predominately confederate, the gray can be the main side.
