Made of gray wool with a red band. It has one row of gold Soutache braid on the top, sides, front and back of the cap as well as a single row of gold braid that encircles the quatrefoil design on the top. It is lined with black cotton, has a leather sweat band and leather bill. The chin strap is attached with 2 CSA buttons. The rise in the back is about 7".
