Top quality piece. A newcomer to the hobby will not find a better garment at such a great price, done in such a speddy time frame.
Having been involved in re-enacting for over 15 years, I've seen and worn different shell jackets from several makers. Milk Creek does a excelent job and uses a correct pattern. The only reason I am witholding the 5th star is because the button holes are done in a matter that need to be finished by hand. Jean wool requires the extra attention. However, if they did the hand stitching, they would have to charge more for the jacket.
Bravo Milk Creek!!! I have recieved many complements on my jacket in the few months I have had it. And I make sure to tell everyone where it came from. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming back!!
